Stoelting, Kiel, Wisconsin, a manufacturer of commercial and industrial products for worldwide markets, acquired Lewis Corporation of Oxford, Connecticut, a pioneer and leader in the ultrasonic cleaning industry, in June 1999. This acquisition brought together two world-renowned entities in the Industrial Parts Washing Business. Both are known and respected for their unsurpassed commitment to deliver guaranteed solutions to customers' cleaning needs.

The Lewis Cleaning Systems products fall under the same category of Stoelting's Cleaning Equipment Division. This addition expanded the capabilities of the Stoelting Cleaning Equipment. The manufacturing functions of Lewis Ultrasonics were incorporated to the Stoelting facility in Wisconsin, in November of 2003.
